North Carolina Senior Games began in 1983 with a vision to create a year-round health promotion and wellness education program for adults 50 years of age and better. Senior Games is a holistic approach to keeping the body, mind and spirit fit while enjoying the company of friends, family, spectators and volunteers.
Regional, state and national competition are held for selected sporting events and the arts in age categories. Cheerleading has Small (2-4), Medium (5-7) and Large (8+) divisions with mixed age groups. Reba and Beryl have been competing as a team since 2019. Reba competed solo in 2018.
Results: September 22, 2022 competed at Cary Arts Center in NC Senior Games 2022 Cheerleader, Small Division, and we’re named Gold metal winners As a team accumlated the following: 2022-2019: 4x Gold Medal Regional Winners 2019-2020, 2022: 3x Gold Medal State Winners 2021: 1x Silver Medal State Winners Reba Solo: 1x Gold Medal Regional Winners 1x Gold Medal State Winner Reba has held several other regional and state track gold metal titles. In 2022, accomplished in 65-69 Div: Regional Gold Metals in Running and Standing Long Jump; Shot Put; Discus and 50 Meters. On the State level in 2022: Gold in Running and Standing Long Jump; Shot Put; and 4th in 50 Meter and Discus.
