Good afternoon D.C aggies! My name is Mariah Pearson and I am a current junior studying sports science and former aggie cheerleader. Before cheering here, I was a competitive gymnast for 13 years who trained with Simone Biles and planned on competing at the collegiate level. Because I loved A&T and absolutely had to attend I had to sacrifice that plan. Choosing between my athletic talent and my education was an extremely difficult decision that I feel no other student should ever have to make. Out of this difficult decision; a dream was created…NCAT Gymnastics! With your help, signatures, and shares of my petition A&T can become the first on only current gymnastics team at an HBCU.
